Today the 2016 Chevy Camaro debuted at Detroit’s Belle Isle Park, in a lovely ceremony that was almost entirely redundant.

Thanks to a barrage of leaks on Friday, we already knew what the new sixth-generation Camaro looked like, as well as what new powertrain options would be available. In fact, we even knew how GM reps planned on answering questions about the new Camaro.

Still, it was nice to see a bit more of the new Gen Six Camaro, which features a leaner, meaner, more athletic design than the outgoing model. See for yourself by checking out this reveal video:

There are six all-new powertrain combinations, which include a 2.0-liter Turbo, an all-new 3.6-liter V6, and the LT1 6.2-liter V8. With 455 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque, the V8 engine option is the most powerful Camaro SS ever. Each motor can be mated to a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission.

The new Camaro is stiffer, more aerodynamic, and 200 pounds lighter than the model it replaces. Inside, new technologies include Driver Mode Selector, configurable instrument cluster, and a customizable ambient lighting feature.

“Redesigning the Camaro is thrilling and challenging all at once, but the secret is to offer something more,” said Mark Reuss, GM executive vice president of Product Development. “For Camaro enthusiasts, it retains iconic design cues and offers even more performance. For a new generation of buyers, the 2016 Camaro incorporates our most innovative engineering ideas with finely honed performance and leading design.”
