2016 Chevrolet Volt Spotted In The Wild
When the 2016 Chevrolet Volt was first fully unveiled at the Chevrolet Volt, it was met with mixed reviews. The body has received a major restyling from the previous generation, and it can be a lot to get used to.
Now, thanks to Gas2 and GM-Volt forum user cab, we’re finally getting a proper look at the Chevrolet Volt. Stock pictures are nice, but they are highly stylized and might not be the best demonstration of a car in action. The auto show photos from its first reveal can also be misleading, as harsh lighting can accentuate curves that might be more subtle in the light of day. The pictures from cab show the Chevrolet Volt parked in a lot, and also parked at a charging station next to the previous generation Volt. This really helps demonstrate how the car has changed.

Looking at the pictures, it’s much easier to see that the latest generation is smaller than its predecessor. The designs on the front chrome grille are interesting, and the Chevrolet bowtie is a nice gold contrast with all of that chrome. The flowing lines of the hood also make what can be a boring part of a car more dynamic.
If you live in the state of California, congratulations! You can already order the 2016 Chevrolet Volt. If you’re concerned about the longevity of an EV like the Volt, check out this 2012 Chevrolet Volt that is going strong after racking up more than 240,000 miles! We can’t wait to see how this car actually handles on the road.
