2016 Chevy Equinox Debut Set for Chicago Auto Show
The 2016 Chevy Equinox will make its official debut at next month’s Chicago Auto Show. The updated SUV will boast a wider grille, a restyled front fascia, and a refreshed interior, but aside from those minor changes, nothing too revolutionary for the 2016 model year.
“Chevrolet is embarking on a truly remarkable product transformation in 2015 that will showcase the ingenuity that has been the driving force behind the brand for more than a century,” said Alan Batey, president of GM North America. “The Chicago Auto Show attracts a tremendous audience, which makes it the perfect place for us to introduce the redesigned 2016 Chevrolet Equinox, which is going to help keep the compact crossover segment one of the hottest in the industry.”

While we are guaranteed to see the new 2016 Chevy Equinox in Chicago on February 12th, it’s unknown as of now when we might see the new model in dealerships. The current 2015 Equinox has been selling well, so there’s no rush to replace it. According to GM, “the market will dictate when the Equinox has had its run.”
