With all of the attention paid to the recent release of 2016 Camaro pricing information, news of the 2016 Chevy Impala’s price tag seems to have been lost in the shuffle. Although it’s not quite as sexy as the Camaro, the Impala does offer a pretty good value, as the newest edition of the full-size sedan is priced at $27,920, including an $825 destination fee.

That MSRP for the 2016 Impala represents a price increase of just $35. The top-of-the-line 2LTZ trim costs $36,365, which is $100 more than the outgoing 2015 model.

Not a bad deal, considering that the new Chevy Impala features Apple CarPlay and wireless charging capability, as well as Chevrolet’s brilliantly simple Active Phone Cooling technology for overheating smartphones and other digital devices.

Also new for the 2016 model year are several exterior colors, including Citron Green Metallic, Heather Gray Metallic, Siren Red Tintcoat, Mosaic Black Metallic, and Green Envy Metallic.

For an additional $995 to $1,595, car buyers can customize their LT or LTZ V6 Impala model with the “Midnight Edition” appearance package. Midnight Edition Impalas feature 19-inch Midnight Edition wheels, a blacked-out grille, a pedal cover set, and of course, a black exterior color.
