Kelley Blue Book has named the 2016 Ford F-150 its Truck Best Buy, marking the second year in a row that the next-gen F-150 has earned top honors in KBB’s annual Best Buy Awards.

In addition, the Shelby GT350 was named a runner-up in the sports performance car category, the 2016 Expedition was the runner-up in the full-size SUV category, and the 2016 Explorer was the runner-up in the midsize SUV category.

Ford’s competition in the pickup truck segment included three models that featured big upgrades or complete overhauls: the 2016 Chevy Colorado Diesel, the 2016 Nissan TITAN XD, and the 2016 Toyota Tacoma. What ultimately helped Ford win the day yet again despite such stiff competition? According to KBB, “the right balance of capability and value.”

KBB praised the 2016 F-150 for its 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine in particular; the EcoBoost provides 325 horsepower and up to 8,500 pounds in trailering capabilities while returning impressive fuel efficiency and responsiveness. The F-150’s overall value was also praised, and it was a significant factor in earning high marks in the 5-Year Cost to Own awards.

The 2016 Ford F-150 features a starting MSRP of $26,315
