The 2016 Honda Civic sedan features a starting MSRP of $18,640

In light of the recent news that the 2016 Honda Civic Sedan has won the North American Car of the Year award and received the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s (IIHS) Top Safety Pick+ rating, Honda has announced the release of four new videos which show the benefits of Honda Sensing technologies available on every trim level of the new Civic.

The tenth-generation Civic’s top rating from the IIHS was in part due to scoring “Superior” on the frontal crash prevention test when equipped with Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), which is explained in the new video below:

The Honda Sensing suite of safety features is available as a standalone option on LX, EX, EX-T and EX-L trims, and comes standard on the Touring trim.

The four new videos highlight Collision Mitigation Braking System with Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Keeping Assist (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM) with Lane Departure Warning (LDW), and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow.
