2016 Honda Pilot on Sale Now, Priced at $29,995

The fully-redesigned, all-new third-generation 2016 Honda Pilot hit dealerships today, carrying a manufacturer’s suggested retail price that starts at $29,995 for the base Pilot LX with 2WD.
For that price, car customers will receive a three-row SUV featuring a more powerful and efficient 280 horsepower direct-injected 3.5-liter SOHC i-VTEC V6 engine, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and returning an EPA-estimated fuel economy slash line of 19/27/22 mpg in city/highway/combined traffic. Upgrading to AWD will cost an additional $1,800, and drop the vehicle’s mileage down to 18/26/21 mpg.

Honda is touting the third-gen Pilot’s premium features, including the new “Elite” trim level, which offers Honda-first features that include ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, a heated steering wheel, 20-inch wheels and tires, and a first-ever panoramic glass roof. The 2016 Honda Pilot Elite is priced at $46,420.

The 2016 Honda Pilot also improves upon family functionality, with a more spacious third-row and greater connectivity in the form of various ports and plugs, including up to four 2.5-amp USB outlets for charging digital devices.
