2016 Maxima to Feature NissanConnect Services
The recently unveiled 2016 Nissan Maxima has several tricks up its sleeve; one of those is the all-new NissanConnect Services, an available connected technology. The Maxima also comes standard with a number of infotainment features via NissanConnect, including Google’s Online Search, SiriusXM Traffic, and SiriusXM Travel Link. (In case you hadn’t guessed, NissanConnect Services is powered by SiriusXM.)
Drivers of the Nissan Maxima Platinum model will be able to select from three available levels of services. The first level is the base NissanConnect Services, which includes emergency services. Among these are Automatic Collision Notification and Stolen Vehicle Locator. Also included are maintenance alerts.
At the second tier is the NissanConnect Services Premium, which includes all of the base package content, plus monitoring alerts (Valet, Curfew, etc.) and remote control services, with Remote Start and Remote Door Lock/Unlock.
The cream of the crop is the NissanConnect Services Premium Plus, which takes the previous package’s content and adds Assisted Search, Connected Search, and Journey Planner.
Production of the 2016 Nissan Maxima began a week ago today at the Smyrna, Tennessee, plant.
