  • A 3.8-liter twin-turbo, horizontally-opposed six-cylinder aluminum engine, good for 520 horsepower and 487 lb-ft of torque, is equipped inside the 911 Turbo and 911 Turbo Cabriolet.
  • A 3.8-liter twin-turbo, horizontally-opposed six-cylinder aluminum engine, good for 560 horsepower and 516 lb-ft or torque, is equipped inside the Turbo S and 911 Turbo S Cabriolet.
  • A 3.8-liter horizontally-opposed six-cylinder aluminum engine is equipped inside the 911 GT3.
  • A 4.0-liter naturally-aspirated flat-6 aluminum engine, good for 500 horsepower and 338 lb-ft of torque, is equipped inside the 911 GT3 RS.

A seven-speed manual transmission comes standard with the GTS, base, and S trims, but the Porsche PDK transmission is also available. In addition, the PDK is the only transmission available for both of the GT3 trims. Furthermore, the Turbo, Targa, and all models with “4” in the title are four-wheel drive. The other models come standard with rear-wheel drive.
