2016 Subaru BRZ Overview
In a world full of Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, the Subaru BRZ stands alone. It is the only model in the Subaru lineup built on a rear-wheel-drive platform, which boosts performance. For 2016, the Subaru BRZ sees a few small updates and a slight price reduction.
The 2016 Subaru BRZ is offered in two trims: Premium and Limited.

What’s New for the 2016 Subaru BRZ
For 2016, Subaru upgrades the BRZ’s entertainment system. The touchscreen grows from 6.1 inches to 6.2 inches (big things happening at Subaru, eh?), and the system has added integration for apps like Pandora, Stitcher, iHeartRadio, Aha, and a handful of convenience apps like weather. Subaru’s also added a standard rearview camera.
Despite the slight changes year-over-year, Subaru is actually dropping the price on both trims by $300.

2016 Subaru BRZ Performance
The BRZ is the only model in Subaru’s lineup without Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. That’s because it’s performance-focused with a rear-wheel drivetrain. Both the Premium and the Limited are motivated by a 2.0-liter DOHC aluminum-alloy 16-valve horizontally opposed SUBARU BOXER four-cylinder engine with Dual Active Valve Control System, mated to a fully synchronized six-speed close-ratio manual transmission. The BRZ busts out a whopping 200 horsepower and is good for 151 lb-ft of torque.
