2016 Toyota Prius c Overview
The 2016 Toyota Prius c might not be as well-known as the original Prius, but there’s no need to discount it. This subcompact hatchback combines easy maneuverability on city streets with exceptional fuel economy to make it a hit with drivers everywhere.
The 2016 Toyota Prius c is available in four unimaginatively named trim levels: One, Two, Three, and Four.

What’s New for the 2016 Toyota Prius c?
The Prius hatchback is being redesigned for 2016, but the Prius c will keep its current generation for a while longer. As a result, not much has changed from the 2015 version with a couple of notable exceptions.
First, the 2016 Prius c now offers Toyota’s Safety Sense C package, which includes lane departure assist, automatic high-beams, and a pre-collision system.
Additionally, Toyota will make 1,500 Prius c Persona Series Special Edition models. These limited-edition hatchbacks will come with a black paintjob with a choice between two accent colors: Cherry Pearl and Electric Lime. On top of that, this model comes with 15-inch black alloy wheels, cruise control, and two-tone fabric-trimmed seats.

2016 Toyota Prius c Exterior
From the outside, the 2016 Prius c is as joyful as ever, with bright color choices like Electric Lime Metallic, Sun Fusion, Tangerine Splash Pearl, and Blue Streak Metallic. The small hatchback has standard LED headlights and available LED foglights, making it stand out amongst its competition. Its boxy shape won’t appeal to all drivers, but one glance is all it takes to tell you that this compact car is bigger that you would expect on the inside.

2016 Toyota Prius c Performance
Performance isn’t the Prius c’s strong point. All models are powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine good for 73 horsepower and 82 lb-ft of torque. This doesn’t make for fast pickup, but the Prius c’s light frame helps it pick up speed fast enough to successfully merge onto the highway without too much trouble.
