The 2016 Volvo V60 Cross Country is offered in two trim levels: the V60 T5 AWD Cross Country and V60 T5 AWD Cross Country Platinum.

2016 V60 Cross Country Exterior
The 2016 Volvo V60 Cross Country boasts 7.9 inches of ground clearance and sports the appearance of a premium wagon that’s capable of driving anywhere. Additionally, the new V60 Cross Country features a honeycomb grille and comes standard with 18-inch “Neso” alloy wheels, but 19-inch “Bor” diamond-cut alloy wheels are also available. Exterior color options for the new Volvo V60 Cross Country include Black Stone, Twilight Bronze Metallic, Bright Silver Metallic, Onyx Black Metallic, Crystal White Pearl Metallic, Osmium Grey Metallic, and Ice White.

2016 Volvo V60 Cross Country Performance
Both trim levels of the 2016 Volvo V60 Cross Country are powered by a 2.5-liter turbocharged five-cylinder engine that is good for 250 horsepower at 5,400 rpm and 266 lb-ft of torque at 1,800-4,200 rpm. The turbocharged engine is matched with a six-speed Geartronic automatic transmission with Sport Mode. In testing performed by Edmunds, the new V60 Cross Country was able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 7.5 seconds.

The 2016 Volvo V60 Cross Country sports an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 20 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. The new Volvo V60 Cross Country features 17.8 gallons of fuel tank capacity.

The interior of the 2016 Volvo V60 Cross Country comes standard with the Volvo Sensus system and 7-inch display monitor, as well as dual-zone climate control. The new V60 Cross Country also comes equipped with a standard 40/20/40-split rear seat that folds down to create 43.8 cubic feet of cargo capacity. A rearview camera is added if you opt for the Platinum trim.

2016 Volvo V60 Cross Country Safety
The 2016 Volvo V60 has not been crash tested as of October 14th by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. In testing performed by Edmunds, the new Volvo V60 Cross country was able to come to a complete stop from 60 mph in 127 feet. Standard safety features for the V60 Cross Country include the Volvo On Call service and Volvo’s City Safety technology. A rearview camera and lane departure warning are among the advanced safety features included with the Platinum trim.
