The 2017 Chevy Camaro ZL1 comes with a supercharged V8 engine that allows it to rocket from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds

There’s been a lot of sad news coming out of the Middle East this year (well, then again, there’s been a lot of sad news coming out of everywhere this year). But hope springs eternal for the New Year, and now citizens of the region have a reason to be excited for 2017: the arrival of a new muscle car.

Today Chevy announced that the 2017 Camaro ZL1 will go on sale in the Middle East in the first half of 2017. The most powerful Camaro in the vehicle’s fifty-year history, the new model is poised to compete with the most advanced sports coupes in the world.

Neither a specific release date, nor any pricing information, has been revealed as of yet.

Other highlights include a stiff and lightweight structure, Magnetic Ride suspension, an electronic limited-slip differential, and standard features that include Driver Mode Selector, dual-mode exhaust, and advanced connectivity features.
