2017 Chicago Auto Show Photo Gallery: Dodge Unveils Several Limited Edition Vehicle Models
For Dodge, automotive shows are a great time to show off the latest special edition vehicles in its lineup. While we might have to wait until the 2017 New York International Auto Show for the reveal of the highly-anticipated 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, Dodge still unveiled quite a few special additions to its lineup at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show.
Speaking of the Dodge Challenger, Mopar and Dodge teamed up to assemble the Mopar ’17 Dodge Challenger. Only 160 of these special edition Dodge Challengers, which celebrate the 80th anniversary of Mopar, are set to be released.
Dodge also revealed the 2017 Dodge Durango SRT during the Chicago Auto Show. Equipped with a 392 cubic inch HEMI V-8 engine, the Durango SRT is capable of producing up to 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, making it the most powerful three-row SUV in its class.
Sadly, this will probably be the last Chicago Auto Show appearance for the beloved Dodge Viper. Production of the Viper came to an end this year, and all orders for the performance vehicle have officially been filled. Nevertheless, Dodge has crafted a number of different special edition models for the 2017 Dodge Viper to celebrate its 25-year legacy.
Dodge vehicles that appeared during the 2017 Chicago Auto Show include the 2017 Dodge Challenger, the 2017 Dodge Charger, the 2017 Dodge Viper, the 2017 Dodge Durango, the 2017 Dodge Journey, and the 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan.
