What’s New for the 2017 Jeep Patriot

There have been no significant changes for the 2017 Jeep Patriot. This is likely because the Patriot is being replaced next year (along with the Jeep Compass) by a new Jeep compact crossover vehicle.

The 2017 Jeep Patriot is offered in five trim levels: Sport, Sport SE, Latitude, High Altitude, and 75th Anniversary Edition.

2017 Jeep Patriot Silhouette

2017 Jeep Patriot Exterior

The 2017 Patriot looks like the offspring of the popular Jeep Wrangler and an old-school Jeep Cherokee with a boxy silhouette and plenty of harsh angles. It’s not unattractive, though, and its exterior design hints at its off-roading roots. Jeep’s characteristic seven-slot grill is nestled between two round headlights, which are similar to the Wrangler’s. Overall, the Patriot offers a unique look to those consumers that want to stand out from the crowd.

2017 Jeep Patriot Interior

2017 Jeep Patriot Interior

The 2017 Jeep Patriot’s interior isn’t the most attractive in its class. Its cabin is full of hard plastic rather than higher quality material, but its design is modern-looking and practical, which makes up for the lesser materials. One of the most appealing parts of the interior is the Patriot’s comfortable seats, which provide great support for long drives. The optional 6.5-inch touchscreen with Uconnect helps keep you connected while you’re out on the road.

When it comes to cargo capacity, the Patriot offers 23 cubic feet of space behind the rear seatbacks. Once the rear seats are folded down, it offers up to 53.5 cubic feet of stowage.
