2017 Kia Sorento Pricing and New Trim Details
Kia recently announced pricing information on the newly upgraded 2017 Kia Sorento. Thanks in part to the introduction of the athletic GT-Line package, the new Sorento will have a variety of options to choose from. The GT-Line appearance package will be available just above the Platinum trim, unlike the Sportage that combines the trims.

Exciting new options on the GT-Line package include LED fog lamps, red brake calipers, stainless steel side steps, 19-inch chrome wheels, and GT-Line badging. Once inside the new trim, you’ll see red trimmed leather along with a bevy of safety features like autonomous emergency braking and satellite navigation. Under the hood is a 2.2-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel engine with up to 290 horsepower and a potential 260 lb-ft of torque.
Sorento is the Most Loved
The Sorento is impressing drivers everywhere, as it was also recently named the “Most Loved Vehicle” by Strategic Vision in their Customer Love Index™ in the mid-size crossover utility vehicle category. The segment is highly competitive and the award was determined by a series of written questionnaires called the New Vehicle Experience Study. The study occurs three months after owners purchase their vehicles and they are asked a variety of questions that cover over 120 factors of their new vehicle.
“We’re thrilled the Sorento is the object of so much love,” said Orth Hedrick, vice president, product planning KMA. “It’s a fantastic vehicle and it’s great to know the hard work and love we’ve put into building loveable vehicles is being recognized. We like that our owners are emotionally connected to their Kias.”
