2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA Efficiency

The 2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA is currently the most efficient gasoline-powered car that the company offers at US dealerships. The base model equipped with FWD and the 208-horsepower engine yields EPA-estimated fuel economy of 26 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway. In contrast, opting for the AWD model with the same engine drops efficiency to 24 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. Moreover, while the Mercedes-AMG CLA45 does provide the most power; that muscle comes at a cost as the AMG model only yields 23 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. Lastly, every 2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA comes standard with a 14.8 gallon fuel tank.

2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA Interior

The interior of the 2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA is both stylish and sophisticated as this compact car comes standard with sport seats up front, dual-zone climate control to keep everyone cool, and the driver gets to use a 3-spoke multifunction steering wheel to point the car in any direction they choose. Other standard features found inside the CLA include MB-Tex synthetic upholstery, a CD player with MP3 capability, and a rearview camera. Perhaps the only drawback to the CLA is its less-than-spacious rear seats, which are better suited for either small children or simply as extra storage space. Also, while the CLA might seem light on the tech front due to its lower asking price, the company does offers Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a Harman Kardon audio system as available upgrades. Furthermore, there’s 13.1 cubic feet of storage space in the CLA’s trunk.
