For that price, buyers will get a new Crosstrek filled with desirable standard features such as a tilt/telescoping steering wheel with audio and Bluetooth control switches, an illuminated front storage tray, and 17-inch alloy wheels. Also, like all current Subaru models-with the exception of the BRZ sports car-the 2017 Subaru Crosstrek comes standard with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive.

New for the 2017 model year, Subaru will also be offering a Premium Special Edition Crosstrek. This new trim will come equipped with a leather-wrapped steering wheel and dark gray 5-spoke 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels. In addition, the Premium Special Edition Crosstrek will boast extra safety technology, which comes in the form of a blind spot detection system and rear cross traffic alert. The new Crosstrek variant has been priced at $25,795, but it’s only available in two exterior color options: Pure Red and Crystal Black Silica.

Every 2017 Subaru Crosstrek will come equipped with a 2.0-liter boxer four-cylinder engine rated at 148 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque. This engine will be paired with a five-speed manual transmission on the base model, but the Premium and Limited trims are offered with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The premium model with the CVT has been priced at $23,495, while the top-level Premium trim carries a starting MSRP of $25,195.

The 2017 Subaru Crosstrek is scheduled to reach US dealerships this November.

In Subaru of America’s latest press release, the automaker made no mention of a hybrid version of the Crosstrek for the 2017 model year, but the 2018 Crosstrek is expected to come with a major redesign, so perhaps it will make its return with the updated model.
