2017 Toyota Camry Overview

The 2017 Toyota Camry is a midsize sedan that carries a starting MSRP of $23,070. The Toyota Camry was the best-selling sedan in the United States last year with 429,355 units moved. In addition–despite offering more technology for the new model year–the ‘17 Camry will wear the same price tag as last year’s version. Key competitors for the Camry include the Honda Accord, Nissan Altima, and Ford Fusion.

What’s New for the 2017 Toyota Camry?

For the 2017 model year, the Toyota Camry comes with new technology such as Qi wireless charging that has been added to the SXE (four-cylinder), XLE, and XLE hybrid trims. This wireless charging technology allows the driver to simply put their Qi-compatible device on a nonslip surface and then it will charge without being plugged into anything. Furthermore, the XSE and XLE models will receive Toyota’s Entune infotainment display that comes with both navigation and a JLB audio system. The last notable addition for the 2017 Camry is the STAR Safety System, which comes standard on all 2017 Toyota vehicles.

In 2016, the Toyota Camry received Top Safety Pick+ honors from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and also received the best possible safety rating of five stars from the federal government.
