Alfa Romeo has announced that its 2018 Stelvio SUV will start at $41,995 MSRP, not including a $995 destination fee.  The even more upscale Alfa Romeo Stelvio Ti will start at $43,995 (also excluding the destination fee), and pricing for the Stelvio Quadrifoglio is expected to be announced later in the year and closer to its street date.

“The all-new Stelvio further highlights and expands Alfa Romeo’s return to North America with a premium mid-size SUV that truly stands apart in the segment,” said Reid Bigland, Head of Alfa Romeo. “As an SUV that could only be born in Italy, the entire Stelvio lineup delivers class-leading power, exceptional driving dynamics, standard all-wheel drive, advanced technologies, gorgeous Italian design, and a race-inspired driving experience, available starting from $41,995 MSRP.”

The base-level 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio comes with a 2.0-liter engine that delivers 280 horsepower and a 0-60 mph sprint of 5.4 seconds, Q4 all-wheel drive, Alfa DNA Drive Mode Selector, carbon fiber driveshaft, 18-inch aluminum wheels, bi-xenon headlamps with signature LED DRL and LED tail lamps, and an F1-inspired flat-bottom steering wheel, among other features. For an additional $1,800, the Sport Package adds 19-inch wheels, colored brake calipers, sport-tuned suspension, a sport steering wheel, aluminum sport pedals, and aluminum paddle shifters, in addition to other aesthetic upgrades.

The next step up the rung is the Stelvio Ti, which adds, among other things, a heated steering wheel and front seats, 8.8-inch infotainment display, 19-inch wheels, and genuine wood accents. There are two packages available for the 2018 Stelvio Ti at an additional cost of $2,500 each: the Ti Sport and Ti Lusso.

The former adds many of the same sporty components available in the previously mentioned Sport Package, in addition to 20-inch wheels and 12-way power high-performance leather seats with four-way lumbar. The latter, scheduled for late availability, gets 19-inch wheels, Luxury Pieno Fiore Italian leather seats with Cannelloni inserts, leather dash and upper door trim with accent stitching, luxury steering wheel, and your choice of dark gray oak or light walnut wood trim.

Pricing for the Stelvio Quadrifoglio, which comes standard with a burly, all-aluminum 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 that generates 505 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque, will be announced at a later date.
