Are you abuzz with excitement at the possibility of wrapping your hands around the steering wheel of a new 2018 Buick Enclave when it launches this fall? While the sweet embrace of autumn is still a few months away, Buick has put customers that much closer to their prized possessions by pricing its next-generation Enclave.

The base-level 2018 Enclave with front-wheel drive will start at $40,970 MSRP (including $975 destination charge). At this and every level, drivers will receive the standard 3.6-liter V6 mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, heated front seats, 60/40-split bench third-row seating, QuietTuning with Active Noise Cancelation, LLED headlamps with Evonik lighting technology, and hands-free power programmable liftgate.

The next level up is the Buick Enclave Essence, which starts at $45,190 for FWD models and $47,190 for AWD models. Here, you get leather-appointed seats, an in-vehicle air ionizer, and additional safety technologies in Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

Up another level is the Enclave Premium, starting at $48,990 for FWD and $51,290 for AWD Twin Clutch. Additional safety technologies at this trim include Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Safety Alert Seat, Front Parking Assist, Forward Collision Alert, and Intellibeam headlamps. The 2018 Enclave Premium also adds cooled front seats, heated second-row captain’s chairs, and power-folding third-row seats.

At the top of the line for the next-generation Enclave is Buick’s first expression of its ultra-lux Avenir sub-brand in the United States. The 2018 Buick Enclave Avenir starts at $54,390 for FWD models and $56,690 for AWD Twin Clutch models; in addition to distinctive aesthetic upgrades like 20-inch pearl nickel wheels and three-dimensional Black Ice grille on the outside and stylish Chestnut interior with wood accents in the steering wheel on the inside, the Enclave Avenir adds Buick Infotainment with Navigation, an eight-inch configurable driver information center, power dual moonroof with fixed rear skylight, Surround Vision Rear View Mirror, and wireless charging pad.

“Our customers are also incredibly loyal and are demanding something new and something more from the Enclave,” a Buick spokeswoman told Automotive News. The Enclave Avenir represents this, she adds, with “and extensive set of smart, responsible luxury features.”
