Even though General Motors kept relatively quiet at the recent Chicago Auto Show, that doesn’t mean the automaker plans to do the same next month in New York. That’s because it’s been reported by multiple publications that GM plans to introduce a number of new vehicles at the event, including the redesigned 2018 Buick Enclave.

Even though the current version of the Enclave was introduced for the 2008 model year, it remains one of Buick’s strongest sellers, especially here in the United States where it moved 52,028 units in 2016. However, it looks like the company is finally ready to introduce a new version of the popular crossover since it released a teaser image of the vehicle today, March 14th.

While the preview image shows nothing more the headlights and grille, it’s clear the 2018 Enclave will feature a sleeker look than the current model. As you can see in the new image, the front headlights will be much thinner and the updated grille looks similar to what’s featured on the third-generation LaCrosse sedan.

GM Authority also reported that you can expect the 2018 Enclave to be offered with the choice between a naturally-aspirated V6 and a turbocharged four-cylinder. In addition, the Enclave is expected to be available with the option of either front-wheel or all-wheel drive.

The redesigned Enclave could become the first Buick in the United States to be offered in the new Avenir trim level, according to The Car Connection. The range-topping Avenir trim is expected to provide Buick with the same upscale flair that Denali models bring to GMC.

The 2018 Buick Enclave is expected to go on sale by the close of 2017, following its public debut in New York.
