2018 Chevrolet Equinox Premier Arrives in The Middle East
General Motors this month unleashed the 2018 Chevrolet Equinox Premier in the Middle East, officially offering it up for sale at the beginning of September. The Equinox Premier marks the debut of the SUV namebadge in the region, and it will carry an attractive starting price point of $30,185 USD.

“The all-new Chevrolet Equinox represents the perfect balance of design and technology. Eye-catching looks complemented by the latest safety technologies mean that both drivers and passengers are kept safe, comfortable and connected on the road,” said Ahmed Soudodi, Chevrolet Middle East’s Head of Brand.
“Going on sale this September 2017 across our Chevrolet showrooms in the Middle East, we are confident the 2018 Equinox will offer customers across the region unmatched performance, efficiency, and value in the compact SUV segment,” Soudodi added. “And [that the 2018 Equinox] will play a significant role in Chevrolet’s comprehensive and young portfolio.”
At launch, the 2018 Chevrolet Equinox Premier is offered with the 2.0-liter turbo mated to GM’s new nine-speed automatic transmission, which generates 252 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. When the Equinox LS and Equinox LT launch later in Q4 2017, they will come standard with the 1.5-liter turbo. The Equinox Premier is also standard with all-wheel drive with fuel-saving disconnect feature.
