In order to improve on its efficiency, the Spark doesn’t have the most powerful powertrain. It comes with an across-the-board 1.4-liter ECOTEC DOHC four-cylinder engine. The engine can be paired to the standard five-speed manual transmission, or you can upgrade to a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). The powertrain produces 98 horsepower and 94 lb-ft of torque.
