The 2018 Honda Accord is longer, shorter, and wider to its predecessors and boy, does it look all the better for it. The proportions are spot on and the overall look only gets better as you go up the trim levels LED headlights and foglights or the 19-inch black-and-chrome alloy wheels. What’s more, it features an underbody aerodynamic kit that improves handling and efficiency, as do the low hood and active grille shutters. Honda also applied some of its clever packaging solutions to the hybrid model to allow it to offer the same 16.7 cubic feet of trunk space and folding rear seats, which are usually compromised because of the battery.

The 2018 Honda Accord is offered with two new turbocharged engines and a hybrid powertrain. For more power, you can upgrade to a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder, which makes 252 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque and is paired with a 10-speed automatic. The Accord Sport is offered with a six-speed manual with both engines. The hybrid model uses the previous-generation Accord’s 2.0-liter gasoline and combines it with an electric motor to make a combined 212 horsepower and 232 lb-ft of torque.
