2018 Honda Pilot Goes on Sale for Under $31,000

The 2018 Honda Pilot is now officially on sale at dealerships around the country with a starting MSRP of $30,900 (not counting the $975 destination and handling charge), representing only a $155 price increase over the 2017 model. At the very top of the line, a fully-loaded Pilot will cost you $47,470.
For 2018, the best-selling Honda SUV comes better equipped than ever even on the base LX trim. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a multi-angle rearview camera are all standard. The Honda Sensing suite of driver assistive technologies is optional on the EX and EX-L but standard on the Touring and Elite trims—it comes with adaptive cruise control, road departure mitigation with lane departure warning, lane keeping assistance, and a collision mitigation braking system with forward collision warning.

Every model is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 that makes 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, paired with either a six-speed automatic transmission on lower trims or a more efficient nine-speed automatic on the higher trims. The engine is able to deactivate two of its cylinders when it doesn’t need the power to improve fuel economy, which peaks at 20 mpg city, 27 mpg highway, and 23 mpg combined.
On top trims the 2018 Honda Pilot gets positively luxurious, with available features that include a nine-inch rear entertainment system with DVD and Blu-ray capability, heated second-row captain’s chairs, a panoramic roof, satellite navigation, leather-trimmed seats and tri-zone automatic climate control.
It also delivers on the utility front: there are 109 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second- and third-row seats folded down, and accessing the third row is made extra easy thanks to an available one-touch slide-and-fold second-row seat.
