Lincoln Motor Company delivered sales totaling 8,909 vehicles in November, down 5.5% from 9,429 vehicles delivered in November 2016. The overall decline was largely due to a down month across the board for Lincoln cars, while SUV sales were generally more positive.

Leading the way in terms of volume for Lincoln was the MKX SUV, which was recently announced as being replaced by the 2019 Lincoln Nautilus. Sales of the MKX were up 6.9% at 2,619 vehicles, and to-date sales are up 2.2% at 28,055 vehicles. The introduction of the Nautilus, which receives Lincoln’s new signature face and an exclusive Lincoln Black Label theme, is slated for summer of next year.

Lincoln’s second-newest vehicle, the 2018 Navigator, hit the market with full force in November. Lincoln Navigator sales were up 81.7% for the month at 1,230 vehicles, putting the brand’s full-size SUV in good position to draw even with 2016’s sales total before the end of the month.

Lincoln MKC, which is receiving a refresh for 2019, saw sales slip 1.4% at 2,037 vehicles, and MKT was down 13.9% at 161 sold. Total SUV sales for the month were up 12.4% at 6,047 delivered; year-to-date, SUVs are up 2.5% at 64,497 vehicles sold.

Lincoln Car sales were down 29.3% in November at 2,862 vehicles delivered. Continental sales fell 35% from 1,419 vehicles last year to 923 vehicles. MKZ sales were down 23.7% at 1,939 vehicles delivered. Through 11 months, Lincoln’s car sales are flat at 36,043 vehicles delivered and will likely close out the year at a slight loss in volume.

Through November, Lincoln’s overall sales are up 1.6% at 100,540 vehicles delivered.
