The 2018 Nissan Titan XD, when equipped with the new Snow Plow Prep Package, is your best defense against Mother Nature this winter.

“The package, which includes high-capacity, heavy-duty front springs, will be available this fall for use with a range of commercial and personal snow plows from five leading snow plow manufacturers: Boss, Fisher, Meyer, SnowEx and Western,” according to Nissan. “The Snow Plow Prep Package replaces the stock front springs with a higher capacity design, which increases front gross axle weight rating (GAWR) capacity by 575 pounds (from 4,325 pounds to 4,900 pounds). This allows fitment of snowplows up to 786 pounds (TITAN XD Gas Crew Cab S grade).”
All Titan XD trims (Single Cab, Crew Cab, and King Cab) that sport the 5.6-liter Endurance® V8 engine, which generates 390 horsepower and 394 lb-ft of torque, can take advantage of the Snow Plow Prep Package’s strong assistance.

According to Nissan, the Nissan Titan XD is engineered with a “heavy-duty, highly stable suspension design” giving drivers a strong grip on the road, even in difficult conditions.

The Nissan Titan has been garnering attention and earning awards. The Nissan Titan Midnight Edition earned “Full-size Truck of Texas;” the Nissan Titan King Cab earned first place in the “Best Value” category with the Nissan Titan PRO-4X and Nissan Titan Platinum Reserve, taking second and third places, respectively; and the Nissan Titan King Cab with Rear Seat Delete was deemed “Commercial Vehicle of Texas.” These titles were determined by members of the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) at the 2017 Texas Truck Rodeo.
