2019 Buick LaCrosse Lineup Adds Stylish New Sport Touring Trim
The upscale ST model features sporty design cues like body-color accents, a unique grille, 19-inch aluminum wheels, and a rear spoiler

Buick is adding a stylish new Sport Touring trim to its 2019 LaCrosse mid-size sedan lineup.
The 2019 Buick LaCrosse ST is equipped with a standard 3.6-liter V6 engine that puts out 310 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque, along with a nine-speed transmission.
The ST includes sporty standard design features like a body-color grille surround and side vents, a black mesh grille, a subtle rear spoiler, trim-specific badging on the trunk, and 19-inch aluminum Midnight Silver-finish wheels. It’s available in five exterior colors: Ebony Twilight Metallic, Quicksilver Metallic, Satin Steel Metallic, White Frost Tricoat, and Red Quartz Tintcoat.
“The LaCrosse ST emphasizes the importance of design, while also complementing the safety, refinement and technology of our flagship sedan,” said Buick and GMC Marketing Vice President Phil Brook. “The LaCrosse exemplifies what we mean by attainable luxury, offering Buick’s signature QuietTuning, spirited and efficient performance, and the latest in-car connectivity all at a tremendous value to customers.”
Aside from the introduction of the ST trim, the LaCrosse isn’t changing much for the 2019 model year. Some trims are available with new colors: Dark Shadow Metallic and Carrageen Metallic (a shade of green). A cargo net is now offered as an accessory. On the top-line Avenir trim, a new ionizer to block odors and boost interior air quality comes standard.
The ST joins five other LaCrosse trims: 1SV, Preferred, Essence, Premium, and Avenir. It will be sold at a starting MSRP of $40,295, slotting it between the Premium and Avenir trims in terms of pricing.
The 2019 Buick LaCrosse ST will be available at dealerships sometime this summer.
