2019 Buick LaCrosse Set to Receive Two New Exterior Hues and a Sport Touring Trim
Beginning with the 2019 model year, the Buick LaCrosse will be available in shades of Dark Shadow Metallic and Carrageen Metallic
Slowly but surely, GM appears to be adding a splash of color to its Buick vehicle lineup. Last year, Buick added three new exterior hues for the 2018 Buick LaCrosse: Satin Steel Metallic, Dark Slate Metallic, and Red Quartz Tintcoat.
For the 2019 model year, Buick reportedly plans to repeat this strategy for the LaCrosse with the addition of two new exterior colors and a host of other changes.
A Cascade of Colors: Buick to add new colors for the 2018 Cascada
Starting with the 2019 Buick LaCrosse, customers can choose from two new exterior shades to apply to their LaCrosse sedan. Those two new colors are Dark Shadow Metallic and Carrageen Metallic.
The Carrageen color shade was previously added for the Buick Cascada for the 2018 model year. This change will make the Buick LaCrosse one of the few reaming sedans still available in a shade of green.
However, at the same time that these two new exterior hues are introduced, two other exterior colors will be phased out from the LaCrosse lineup. Beginning with the 2019 model, the LaCrosse will no longer be available in Dark Slate Metallic or Black Cherry Metallic.
Additions for the 2019 Buick LaCrosse go beyond its exterior appearance. The luxury sedan will receive a brand-new trim level in the form of the 2019 Buick LaCrosse Sport Touring.
The Buick LaCrosse Sport Touring comes equipped with a blacked-out version of the standard LaCrosse’s grille. It also comes standard with a set of 19-inch aluminum wheels.

The rest of the alterations for the LaCrosse will be relatively minor. For example, a brand-new cargo net will be available as a new Buick LaCrosse accessory.
There’s no official word on when the 2019 Buick LaCrosse will be available at dealerships, but more information about the updated LaCrosse model should become available relatively soon.
