WardsAuto just rounded up the top 10 vehicles that deliver user-friendly infotainment systems and advanced driver assist technologies. Securing a well-deserved spot on the third-annual Wards 10 Best UX list is the 2019 Volkswagen Jetta.

Did You Know? The 2018 Volkswagen Jetta is the most appealing compact car

The editors were particularly impressed with the 2019 Jetta’s exceptional graphics in its debut Digital Cockpit reconfigurable instrument cluster, which rivals those typically relegated to high-priced luxury cars. Also appealing to the editors, were tech features such as the BeatsAudio® premium sound system, simple-to-connect Bluetooth® phone pairing, and intuitive center display. The 2019 Jetta’s well-crafted interior features ventilated front seats and premium materials, additional pluses according to the WardsAuto editors.

Tom Murphy and Bob Gritzinger, WardsAuto managing editor and associate editor, respectively noted a unique feature of the 2019 Jetta — “a first-ever gentle reminder that is greatly appreciated by the absent-minded: a message at vehicle shutoff that reads, ‘Please do not forget your cell phone.’”

The comprehensive suite of advanced driver assist technologies such as forward collision warning, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and autonomous emergency braking, featured in the 2019 Jetta also helped it earn its top 10 spot on the list.

“Jetta was redesigned with the American consumer in mind,” said Derrick Hatami, Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and After Sales for Volkswagen of America, Inc. “It offers a host of available technology and driver assistance features designed to make people’s lives easier. We’re very encouraged to be recognized with the Wards 10 Best UX award — it means we’re getting it right.”
