A higher level of luxury for Kia has been achieved in the 2019 K900. The restyled K900 is based on the “The Gravity of Prestige” design aesthetic, which highlights a wrap-around cabin overflowing with high-end amenities, premium materials, and advanced technologies.

Revealed at the 2018 New York International Auto Show, the newly redesigned K900 is set to hit the U.S. market in the last quarter of this year. The K900 sports 176 jewel-like “cells” within the “Quadric pattern” of Kia’s distinctive grille, a floating hood design, 19-inch wheels, and chrome accented exhaust housings.

“The all-new 2019 K900 is much more than a generational redesign, as it takes on a whole new look, feel and character over its predecessor.  Only its name — K900 — is carried over,” said Orth Hedrick, vice president, Product Planning, KMA.  “Our designers and engineers have done an extraordinary job of reimagining the K900 to fully meet the needs and desires of consumers shopping in the luxury sedan segment with the promise of a tremendous value proposition that only Kia can deliver. The all-new K900 is a push into new territory and serves as further evidence this brand is moving in a forward direction.”

Inside, the cabin is awash with wood trim, metal veneers, and leather. An uncluttered, yet tech-heavy instrument panel, heated leather steering wheel, leather-wrapped gear shift, and leather-trimmed seats add to the sophisticated interior design.

The driver and passenger will have complete control over their comfort as the K900 offers an available 20-way adjustable seat for the driver and an available 12-way adjustable seat for the passenger seated in front.

“For further comfort and relaxation, drivers can adapt the cabin of the new K900 to personal preferences with a new mood lighting system developed in conjunction with the world-renowned Pantone Color Institute.  Of the 64 total colors available, Pantone created seven specific color settings, each with its own message and meaning inspired by oceans, forests, skies, the Aurora Borealis, and other aspects of nature,” reports Kia.

The K900 is equipped with Kia’s Premium Navigation system, which features the automaker’s UVO luxe system, offering drivers remote capabilities such as “Find My Car,” remote start, and cabin temperature control. Drivers can easily sink their smartphones with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ capability.

The K900 shares the same engine that powers the raceworthy Stinger, a 3.3-liter twin turbo V6 mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. In the K900, the V6 churns out 365 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque.
