The all-new 2019 Volkswagen Jetta, which is equipped with a 1.4-liter turbocharged and direct-injection TSI® engine, features a starting MSRP of $18,545, less than what you’d pay for the previous generation.

The 2019 Jetta gives you the option pairing a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission to the powerful 1.4-liter engine to create a drivetrain that generates 147 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque.
“Automatic transmission models come standard with a Start/Stop system designed to improve fuel efficiency. This technology stops the engine during idle when the brake pedal is held (such as when waiting at a stop light). When the brake pedal is released, the engine starts,” reports Volkswagen.
The 2019 Jetta will hit the U.S. market in the second quarter of this year and will be available at five trim levels: S, SE, R-Line®, SEL, and SEL Premium.
Standard features on the all-new Jetta include full LED lighting and aluminum-alloy wheels. Available driver assist technology features include Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Traffic Alert, Front Assist, Lane Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Light Assist. Opt for available premium features, and you’ll enjoy heated and ventilated leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, 10-color ambient lighting, 400-watt BeatsAudio® system, and the Volkswagen Digital Cockpit.
As the driver, your chance to personalize the all-new Jetta also comes standard.
“Every Jetta offers standard Driver Personalization with up to four driver settings. Dependent on trim, customizable features include: driver seat memory, drive mode selection, driver assistance system preferences, climate control, Volkswagen Digital Cockpit arrangement, ambient lighting color, radio presets, navigation view, and more,” according to Volkswagen.
