The Nissan NISMO family was at the International Z Car Convention

Earlier this month, San Diego played host to the International Z Car Convention, in which Z car owners and enthusiasts showed off nearly 300 Nissan sports cars, some of which date back to the 70’s.

This year, for the 27th annual convention, Nissan also displayed an array of newly released and concept vehicles, including the entire NISMO lineup (which featured the 2015 370Z NISMO and GT-R NISMO) and the all-new 2015 Nissan Murano, which will be available for purchase later this year.

The company also gave Z drivers some exclusive behind-the-scenes tours of its design center in La Jolla, California.

“This event places the most exciting Zcars from the past 40-plus years alongside Nissan’s full NISMO lineup and the highly anticipated 2015 Murano. It is a great opportunity for Nissan to celebrate its rich sports car heritage, while also providing a glimpse into the future,” said Pierre Loing, the vice president of Product Planning for Nissan North America. “Nissan is proud to support the enthusiasts and owners at ZCon each year and we are excited to give them a special insider’s look at the Nissan design facility.”
