Hours of Operation: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Location: King Knob, WV – On Route 57 headed towards Philippi

Cost of Admission: 1 day – $15 Friday-Sunday Pass – $25

Types of Vehicles Allowed: All motor vehicles

King Knob is an off-roader’s paradise. All types of motor vehicles are allowed, and there are trails, mud, ponds, rocks, uphill drag races, endurocross, and more.

Burning Rock Outdoor Adventure Park

Hours of Operation: Monday – Thursday: 9-5 Friday: 8:30-6 Saturday 8:30-8 Sunday: 8:30-5

Location: 171 Burning Rock Dr. Tams, WV 25921

Cost of Admission: Adult: $15 in state, $22 out of state. 17 & under: $12 in state, $16 out of state. 3-day and annual passes are available

Types of Vehicles Allowed: ATVs, UTVs, dirt bikes

Burning Rock is a family-oriented off-road park that also offers a zipline, cabins, and camping. They’re open year-round and even host winter events. You’ll be able to explore over 100 miles of trails over 10,000 acres, and there is a 1.25 mile motocross track in the park as well. ATV and side-by-side rentals make sure that nobody is left out of the fun.

Hours of Operation: Year-round during daylight hours

Location: South of Charleston – several trailheads along Highways 119 & 52

Cost of Admission: WV Residents – $26.50 Non Residents: $50

Types of Vehicles Allowed: ATVs, UTVs, Dirtbikes

This trail system was created by the West Virginia Legislature and consists of several trails that, when completed, may total as much as 2,000 miles. Each of the trails are open year-round to ATVs, dirt bikes, and Utility Vehicles, and you must purchase a pass and follow trail rules such as wearing a DOT approved helmet at all times.
