Acura TLX, RDX, and MDX Win 2016 Consumer Guide Automotive Best Buy Awards
Today Acura took home three 2016 Consumer Guide Automotive Best Buy Awards, for the 2016 Acura TLX, RDX, and MDX. The TLX was one of two vehicles named Best Buys in the Premium Midsize Car category (alongside the Lexus ES), the RDX was honored in the Premium Compact Crossover/SUVs segment (alongside the Lincoln MKC), and the MDX shared the title of Premium Midsize Crossover/SUVs Best Buy (alongside the Volvo XC90).
All three models were given their distinctions by the Consumer Guide Automotive editorial team, which judged vehicles based on performance, accommodations, features, fuel efficiency, resale value, and price.
“Earning Consumer Guide Automotive awards for our TLX midsize luxury sedan and class-leading RDX and MDX luxury SUVs demonstrates the growing strength and balance of the Acura lineup,” said Acura VP Jon Ikeda. “We’ll continue to build on this strong foundation in the future with vehicles that deliver on core Acura brand values of precision-crafted performance.”
This marks the fourth consecutive year that the RDX has been named a Best Buy, and the sixth time since 2009 that the MDX has received the honor. This is the second straight year that the new TLX has been chosen as a Best Buy in its class.
The 2016 Acura TLX, RDX, and MDX will be featured in the Consumer Guide Automotive Best Buys 2015 magazine that comes out December 1st. To read a full list of winners before the issue hits newsstands next month, click here.
