All-New 2014 Corolla

Last week, the all-new 2014 Corolla got its first of many moments in the spotlight.

In an airplane hangar outside of Santa Monica, CA, the much anticipated and long-awaited 2014 Corolla finally made its global debut amid acrobatic performers and flashing strobe lights.  As the new sedan was slowly lowered from the ceiling, onlookers got the full effect of an impressive redesign from the tires up.

At first glance, the new Corolla appears smaller than its predecessor, but in actuality, it is slightly longer and wider by at least four inches.  Once you get inside, there is no doubt about a generous increase in size.  This incarnation of the Corolla is comfortable and roomy for both the front and rear passengers.

Examining the exterior a little bit more, we saw a more modern and stylish Toyota model in front of us.  It has reworked sheet metal with sculpted character lines that add depth and detail.  The rear end has also been transformed for better aerodynamics, with sharper corners and integrated tail lamps.

Check out the photos of the redesigned 2014 Corolla and let us know what you think. Aside from the acrobats, we’d love to hear your opinion on the flashy new Corolla.
