Making a standout and unique appearance at the 2018 Chicago Auto Show was the all-new 2019 Ram 1500 Big Horn Sport 4×4. Outfitted with custom Mopar products – approximately 200 – the “outdoor-sport-themed 2019 Ram 1500” is an eye-catching example of how transformative accessories can be to a vehicle, both in terms of style and function.

“With more than 200 parts and accessories, available at launch, Mopar delivers the largest array of factory-backed, authentic products to personalize the new Ram 1500 and make it truly one of a kind,” said Pietro Gorlier, Head of Parts and Service (Mopar), FCA.

The customized Ram 1500 featured off-road wheel flares, 35-inch tires, off-road beadlock-capable wheels, a 2-inch lift kit, and off-road cast aluminum, skid-resistant running boards, 5-inch dual exhaust tips as well as an all new  adjustable Mopar Ram Rack, which is designed to accommodate oversized cargo like kayaks.

“The Ram Rack system mounts to the available production bed utility rails. A Mopar bed step, featuring an articulating arm, lowers down for easy access,” reports FCA.

Blacked-out Ram badging and emblems, a Mopar logo hitch plug, front tow hooks, and black Mopar hood graphic stripes blend to create a striking exterior look.

Under the hood of the 2019 Ram 1500 is the powerful 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 engine that generates 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque and is supported by the Mopar “Ram Airflow” cold-air intake system. According to FCA, the new intake system, which will be available later in the year, “is compatible with all hood applications for the all-new Ram and works in concert with the Mopar performance cat-back exhaust, which is constructed from AL409 stainless steel and emits a deep exhaust note.”

Inside the cabin, Rebel red stitching adorns the premium black Katzkin leather seats. The center console and door trim also feature the bold stitching. The R-A-M text logo stamps the Mopar brushed aluminum door sills while the all-weather floormats structured with higher sidewalls and deeper channels feature the Ram’s head logo.
