All-New Lexus ES Will Debut at Auto Shanghai 2015
An all-new Lexus ES sedan will debut at the Auto Shanghai 2015 Show on April 20th, 2015, with refreshed looks and the latest Lexus tech.
Judging by the teaser photo shown above, the ES will adopt the modern checkmarked-shaped LED daytime running lights and a spindle grille so big it will probably give Arnold Schwarzenegger Predator flashbacks.

The last generation of ES already rocked a subdued version of the spindle grille, but it looks like the next one will be surrounded by silver trim, so it’ll be hard to miss.
The current Lexus ES is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 putting out 268 horsepower. Today’s ES also offers a drive mode selector that changes the responsiveness of the car with the flip of a switch. We’re expecting a hybrid version to be available as well, with improvements from the current 40 highway miles per gallon that the 2015 model is capable of.
Based on the teaser photo alone, we can already tell the ES will be more aggressive and follow in the footsteps of its smaller Lexus brothers while maintaining its status as a big luxurious saloon. The new ES will debut on April 20th.
