“I am very pleased to welcome Amy to the GM Canada team,” said Carlisle. “Amy brings diverse and valuable experience to her new role as GM Canada vice president, finance and CFO as we continue to build a profitable, innovative, and customer-focused business around world leading vehicles and technologies.”

Martin, who holds a Bachelor of Science in both Accounting and Finance from Oakland University and was first certified as a CPA by the State of Michigan in 1997, has been with General Motors for 20 years. Her first role was that of a customs specialist in 1997, and over two decades, she worked up through roles including assistant director of global customs controls and regional director of cross boarder systems in São Paulo, Brazil.

Most recently, Martin was GM’s global customs director.

As GM Canada’s new CFO, Martin replaces Ines Craviotto, who leaves for the role of finance director of North American customer care and aftersales. Craviotto was originally appointed to the position of CFO in May 2014.

Martin and Craviotto’s appointment take effect on July 1st.
