Arizona Dealership Donates 2016 Roush Stage 3 Ford Mustang to Help Pay for Local Boy’s Medical Bills
When tragedy strikes, communities rally together. Acquaintances become neighbors as they lend a hand to make a difference; local businesses show that they’re not about making money but rather supporting the community. And it’s through this collaboration that lives are changed.
A Phoenix, Arizona Ford dealership has shown what a good neighbor truly is when it stepped in after one of the city’s residents sustained catastrophic injuries. And here’s how a 2016 Roush Stage 3 Ford Mustang is taking part.

Back in July, seven-year-old Dylan was thrown from a boat while on vacation. His arms, leg, and jaw received seemingly-irreparable damage, but the young Arizonian’s spirit of strength and endurance has set him on an incredible road to recovery. Yet, sadly, even recovery comes at a price–medical bills, prosthetic, rehabilitation, and therapy costs.
The family and community were in shock after this tragedy, but they rallied together to facilitate a miraculous recovery. Local car dealership Sanderson Ford stepped in and donated a 2016 Roush Stage 3 Ford Mustang (MSRP $69,215) to help raise funding for his recovery. The dealership is raffling the Mustang in the community, giving 100% of proceeds to Dylan’s medical bills.

While the final winner of the Mustang won’t be picked until November 14th, the real winner here is Dylan, whose community cares so much. May we all be such sacrificial neighbors to those in need.
