Aston Martin Vulcan Makes North American Debut at New York Auto Show
Aston Martins are known for their incredible luxury and impeccable performance, but even the most refined automakers go off the deep end once in a while. Their latest creation is a track-only supercar that’s sure to be the perfect track day toy for the wealthy. Introducing the Aston Martin Vulcan.
Debuting at the New York International Auto Show this week the Vulcan will join the Vanquish, Rapide, DB9, V12 Vantage, and V8 Vantage in Aston Martin’s lineup and will represent the cutting edge of Aston Martin performance. A 7.0-liter V12 sitting just behind the front axle will generate over 800 horsepower to the rear wheels. Upon purchasing the Vulcan, buyers will enjoy the opportunity to participate in a training program to learn how to handle all that power at the track.
It also seems that the Vulcan will be almost endlessly customizable, which is to be expected for something so expensive and rare.
Andy Palmer, CEO of Aston Martin, said, “I’m delighted that after a debut in Geneva we are able to bring the car to our North American audience, underlining the importance of this market to our business and its role in delivering our Second Century business plan.”
See the Vulcan on display at the New York International Auto Show from Friday, April 3rd to Sunday, April 12th.
