2017 Chevrolet Bolt

If you have been tapping your watch impatiently and muttering “Bolt…any day now….aaaaanyyyy dayyyy nowwww…” since it was revealed that it the new Chevrolet Bolt EV would eventually be launched nationwide, then you are in luck and may also want to seek some kind of help.

Chevrolet this month has made the multi-award-winning Chevy Bolt available at dealerships across the United States. Some dealerships will have the Bolt in stock, while others will merely have them available to order. Rejoice!

Since the Bolt went on sale at the tail end of 2016, Chevrolet has sold 12,249 examples of its groundbreaking EV, the vast majority of which have gone to customers who are new to the Bowtie brand. The Bolt promises a fully-electric range of 238 miles on a single charge and costs right around $30,000 after incentives.

“It’s been everything I had hoped!” said Bolt owner Brian Ro of Columbia, Maryland. “The CUV styling fits my family of four just fine, and the EV performance and 200-plus mile range simply can’t be beat at this price point.”

Is Brian Ro a real person and not an actor? Oh, you know it.

Among the awards won by the Bolt since launch—there are 40 in total—are Motor Trend 2017 Car of the Year, 2017 North American Car of the Year, and Green Car Journal’s Green Car of the Year. With all of those trophies and so many sales just in limited markets, it is fair to say that the Chevrolet Bolt has thus far been a pretty major success.

So if you’re tapping your watch like a crazy person, stop doing that and start figuring out where you can go get one. But definitely see someone about that weirdly obsessive behavior. That could be a problem.
