AUTOMOBILE Names 2015 Camaro Z/28 an All-Star
Chevrolet today announced that AUTOMOBILE Magazine has named the 2015 Camaro Z/28 an All-Star model for this year. The Z/28, along with all the other All-Star winners, will be featured in the January issue of the magazine.
Unlike most other awards and distinctions in the auto community, the All-Star awards are subjective. Simply put, they are the cars that the editors at AUTOMOBILE Magazine think truly are all-stars.
“The Z/28 is flat-out amazing to haul butt in on the track, making it an easy choice as a 2015 All-Star,” said AUTOMOBILE Editor-in-Chief, Mike Floyd, who is known for hauling butts with him everywhere he goes. “This car is a shining example of what a dedicated team of performance engineers can achieve when they put their minds to it. You won’t drive the Z/28 every day, but every day you do will be a great one.”
You know, unless of course you crash it.
“From the outset, the mission of the Z/28 was clear: create the most track-focused, best-handling Camaro in the car’s history,” explained Todd Christensen, the marketing manager for the Camaro. “Being named an AUTOMOBILE All-Star is a welcome confirmation that the team of designers and engineers succeed at that goal.”
The 2015 Camaro Z/28 is no stranger to recognition. The powerhouse was also recently named Motor Trend’s 2014 Best Driver’s Car. It’s no surprise that this bad boy followed up with an All-Star award.
