Dayton Auto ShowIf you live in or around Dayton, Ohio, you should head to the Dayton Convention Center this weekend. The Dayton Auto Show runs from now through Sunday, February 26th, and it sure to impress car fans, shoppers, and spectators. This show will display more than 200 vehicles from the major manufacturers, and with admission set at just eight dollars at the door and six dollars when purchased online the experience is simply a steal. If you have never been to the event (or if you have never been to an auto show at all), you need to be prepared so that you can have the best experience possible.

First and foremost, you need to be ready for a how popular the auto show is. According to Ami DeAngelo, Director of Events, Saturday is by far the busiest day on the show floor, so if crowds are not your favorite you should perhaps consider Sunday. Before you head out, you should also consider the events happening at the show. If you are a fan of the Dayton Dragons, be sure to be at the show on Sunday afternoon.

As you walk the show floor, keep your eyes peeled for more than just great cars. Show attendees can enter a drawing for a chance to win a two-year lease on a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze LS. Besides the big drawing, there will be a social media contest, test drive opportunities, and swag from manufacturers on the floor.

Lastly, you need to know what you want out of your auto show experience. Are there certain cars you want to see in person? If you’re shopping for a vehicle, know your budget so you avoid falling in love with a vehicle that is out of reach. Besides knowing what you want to try out in person, make sure you are physically ready for the show with comfortable clothes and shoes for walking around in.
