Best Exterior Colors Offered for Nissan Models
Nearly every automaker provide colors with unique names; Nissan is not an exception to that trend. We generally like to think of colors as blue, red, or green, but with Nissan, you’ll get all of the “Metallic,” “Sapphire,” and “Midnight” variants as well.
Below, you’ll find some of the best exterior colors offered by Nissan for the 2015 and/or 2016 model years.
Nissan Altima
The Altima is your every-day family car. As such, nearly all of the available colors are on the safe-but-boring spectrum between black and white. To add a little spice to your life though, we recommend “Cayenne Red” or “Storm Blue,” but we have to admit the “Super Black” looks quite nice as well.
Nissan LEAF
The LEAF is noteworthy for being the only car in Nissan’s lineup available with a “MorningSky Blue” exterior paint. We assume this is some kind of reference to the clear blue sky the world would see were everyone to drive eco-friendly electric vehicles.
Nissan GT-R
The famously affordable supercar has a turbocharged engine and turbocharged colors. Black becomes “Jet Black,” blue becomes “Deep Blue Pearl,” and silver becomes “Super Silver.” Our favorite is a tie between the flashy “Solid Red” and the 2016 model’s 45th Anniversary Gold.
Nissan JUKE
Funky cars deserve wacky colors. “Bordeaux Black,” “Cosmic Blue,” and “Solar Yellow” are certain to attract attention, but we especially love how the red side mirrors contrast with the rest of the bodywork when choosing “Pearl White,” “Brilliant Silver,” or “Super Black.”
Nissan Frontier
The Nissan Frontier is ready to tackle the great outdoors, which is why it has color options such as “Glacier White,” “Lava Red,” “Arctic Blue Metallic,” and “Night Armor.” The latter is probably our favorite, but we should mention how well “Glacier White” makes all of the truck’s exterior flair pop.
