The BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe

It’s a car that can’t quite figure out what it wants to be. Is it a four-door sedan? Is it a two-door coupe? Well, it’s not quite either. Call it a four-door coupe—it has the spaciousness of the former and the looks of the latter. It’s a BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe.

BMW achieved this by applying all of the same dimensions of its two-door coupe to the Gran Coupe, including identical front fascia. The roof, however, has been raised and stretched, allowing it to flow smoothly into the rear quarter panels and trunk lid. The result is not only increased interior space, but also a perfect expression of balance and boldness.

Getting in is consequently made easier thanks to the extra doors, which are frameless to evoke the characteristic design features of the midsize coupe. Once inside, passengers are greeted with exquisite materials and unrivaled craftsmanship combined with tasteful design to create an overall fulfilling interior atmosphere.

Under the hood, the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe offers a choice of four- and six-cylinder engines as well as two four-cylinder diesel engines, all of which come equipped with the latest BMW TwinPower Turbo Technology and perform up to EU6 emission standards.

You can also pick between two Steptronic or the xDrive transmission, but let’s be honest here—whatever you end up choosing, you’re going to have a blast.
