The fierce BMW M3 will feature in the upcoming Mission: Impossible movie

When you think of BMW, you think luxury, power, and performance. You think of the type of car that a spy, like James Bond or Jason Bourne, would drive. And from now on, you’ll be thinking of the upcoming Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation movie, because BMW has just announced its new role as exclusive worldwide automotive partner with the movie franchise’s next installment. This will mark the second time that BMW has partnered with Paramount Pictures for a Mission: Impossible movie. In 2011, the luxury German automaker signed an agreement with the film studio for Ghost Protocol—the movie franchise’s previous installment. The trailer for Rogue Nation was released last week, and offers a glimpse into what we can expect from this partnership—lots of incredible scenes of the BMW M3 essentially kicking butt. Plus, you know, the usual fights, explosions, ladies, ladies who fight, shirtless muscular dudes, and chase scenes.

“We are delighted to again be a part of one of the most exciting action film franchises in movie history,” commented Ian Robertson, Member of the Board of Management for BMW AG, and also responsible for Sales and Marketing BMW. “Dynamic performance and BMW ConnectedDrive make our BMW models the perfect cars for Ethan Hunt and his team, who use the vehicles’ ground-breaking functions and cutting-edge technology to make sure the good guys come out on top. The BMW M3 combines motorsport DNA with everyday practicality in an emotionally powerful concept quite unlike any other car.”
