To celebrate its birthday, BMW is launching an exhibition called “100 Masterpieces. BMW Group – 100 years of innovative strength and entrepreneurial courage.” While the title sure is a mouthful (and let’s be real, it is probably only four words in German), it’s a weighty moniker worthy of the exhibit. Visitors will be able to see 100 items that represent the most important points in the brand’s history.

In the exhibit, visitors will see more than 30 vehicles parked in BMW’s Museum Bowl portion of the museum. According to the BMW, some of the famous vehicles included in the exhibit include the Gina concept from 2008, which had a fabric skin, and the epic BMW 507 from 1955.

To fill out the exhibit, documents, designs, and other items are arranged along a timeline to show the best moments in Bayerische Motoren Werke’s history. Included are mementos from BMW’s historic win in the 1981 Paris-Dakar Rally and other motorsports victories. Since people and workers are so important to BMW, there are also several milestones for BMW’s employees in the exhibit, like BMW healthcare and BMW EfficientDynamics.
