BMW Sponsors Famous Art Basel Fair in Miami
The BMW 7 Series will transport Art Basel VIPS
Art Basel in Miami Beach is a famous event in the international art world, and organizers are currently preparing for its run from December 3rd to 6th. 267 galleries from around the world will attend and present their examples of contemporary art from established and up-and-coming artists to buyers and viewers alike.
For the 14th year in a row, BMW will be the official partner of the art show. The new BMW 7 Series will be in a place of prominence, as it will be used to shuttle VIPs for the duration of the show. On December 2nd, BMW will also host an exclusive VIP reception.
At the reception, BMW will present the BMW Art Journey with the Art Basel festival organizers in a nearby botanical garden. As part of the BMW Art Journey, several artists traveled around the world creating beautiful pieces of art, and then competed for the top prize. The first winner, Samson Young, hails from Hong Kong and used the competition as an opportunity to travel five continents and study different types of bells and their meaning in the cultures in which they reside. At this year’s festival, a panel of jurors will meet to discuss who shall win the 2015 contest.
